In celebration of Earth Day 2014, Superior employees attended the City of Glendora’s Earth Day Festival. This annual family-friendly event provides those in attendance with activities and services that include a community bike ride, recycling services, environmental education, gardening and composting workshops, free paper shredding and much more.
Participants were also treated to giveaways, live music by local youth bands and an exotic animal show. Booths promoted methods for conserving water, recycling and living “green.”
Glendora’s Earth Day Festival was a great local event that encourages residents and other attendees to appreciate the environment and do whatever they can, however small, to keep our ocean, air and land clean and free of pollution.
